As a Latina artist specializing in modern art paintings, Cindy Franco has been a pioneer in the Bal Harbor and Miami contemporary art scene. Combining street art and pop art undertones with inspiration from diverse sources ranging from urban art to the neo-expressionist societal critiques of Jean Michael Basquiat to the Wynwood walls and the Wynwood art walk, Cindy aims to use her contemporary art to break ground on new truths informed by her perspective as a Colombian artist, a Hispanic artist, an American artist, a mother and a female artist who fuses her varied experiences into her pieces. In 2017 Cindy had the pleasure of doing a live installation at Spectrum during the prestigious Art Basel Miami show. Next year Cindy hopes to be a featured artist at the Coconut Grove Art Festival 2020 and dreams about one day being featured at MOCA Miami, Gary Nader Art Center or Perez Art Museums.
For now Cindy warmly invites you to view several of her most cherished works presently on display at the White Porch Gallery @ R House in Wynwood.
